The Recreation Manager in adherence and compliance with Half Moon’s recreation culture and vision; is responsible for designing recreation programmes for guests’ enjoyment and relaxation and managing programmes of quality standards to ensure excellent customer service and safety.
Requirements for this position include:
A Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality, Sports Management, or related field.
Minimum of three (3) years’ recreation management experience in a resort.
Strong Guest Service background and in-depth knowledge of hotel recreation programmes and facility management.
Ability to evaluate equipment and facilities with the view of adapting activities to guests’ needs.
Reviewing and conducting inspection tours in area of responsibility, to ensure established standards of appearance, safety, quality, service, cleanliness and controls are maintained.
Ability to administer and maintain an effective training programme, in accordance with the policies and procedures of the hotel.
Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and demonstrated ability to effectively deal with internal and external customers.
Experience in budgeting.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
