Financial and Business Analyst

 

Job Purpose

To assist the implementation across Spectrum Capital Partners of financial analytics, planning, operational analytics, forecasting, research, feasibility studies, surveys, project management, and related initiatives. The Spectrum Capital Partners Financial and Business Analyst will identify, under the direction of company executives, the implementation of business models, processes, and financial forecasting; and Assist in examine products in development and in the market for their viability and sustainability. He/ She will assist in the business planning system, in customer research, feasibility studies, surveys, and new business modelling.

 

Job Responsibilities

Research 

Assist with feasibility studies; undertake research on new business models, supply and demand chains, operational processes, and products

Conduct Industry Analysis and Competitive Reviews of varying industries

Assist in creating proposals for investors, customers, and suppliers, across government, public-private partnerships, outsourcing, manufacturing and other sectors

Assist with proposals under the guidance of the executives and Senior Management

Modelling

Implement Business Planning and Modelling to operationalize products and services

Assist in Scenario Modelling for the development and growth of the portfolio

Undertake modelling and due diligence to meet the Company’s goals

Planning & Reporting

Assist in developing, implementing and then maintaining planning and analysis capability

Work on strategic aspects of the annual operating plan and budget process for the company in support of the Senior Executives

Assist with developing business models, business plans, financial forecasts and financial plans; identify implications and possible actions

Assist with in measuring the performance of the Company’s portfolio of businesses

Report business unit and company financial and operational trends

Assist in the preparation of presentations in support of board and shareholder meetings, monthly/quarterly leadership meetings and company committees

Controls & Protocols

Report Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) of efficiency and returns

Assist in implementing quality-control programs that promote best practice and drive continuous improvement

Assist with the establishment, implementation and monitoring of standard operating procedures

Assist in developing Quality Assurance to achieve and maintain high quality product specifications

Identify possible cost reduction opportunities

Projects

Establish projects; identify, milestones, phases, and elements; form project teams

Monitor and report project progress; make recommendations to resolve issues

Study and evaluate various businesses, systems and functions; Identify key capabilities and trends

Improve systems and processes through analysis; recommend improvements

Education & Experience

BSc. in Economics, Accounts, Business Administration, Management, Statistics, or a numeric subject

Four years’ experience in similar sector with some supervisory experience

Track record in financial modelling, and product development

 

Professional Certification (if possible)

Securities License

Ordinary Long-Term Insurance License

Certification in General Insurance
