CREDIT & COLLECTIONS OFFICER

DO YOU HAVE?

  • Tertiary level training, education.
  • One year experience in a similar role.

DO YOU POSSESS?

  • Good organising and time management skills (organized, focused & results oriented).
  • Detail oriented.
  • Excellent problem solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills (strong relationship & communication skills).
  • Ability to work on own initiative.

The successful applicant will:

  • Review customer Statement of Account to ensure payments and deposits are accounted for correctly.
  • Based on the monthly aging, prepare collection letters for all customers with balances that are past due.
  • Place direct phone calls and emails to customers that are past due.
  • Monitor violations of credit policies, provide analysis, conclusion and recommendations.
  • Negotiate payment plans with delinquent customers.
