ACCOUNTING OFFICER

The successful candidate will be required to perform the following tasks:

  • Post Invoices and payments to customers’ accounts in accounting software
  • Call customers in a timely manner for payment collections
  • Dispatch bearer to collect payments from customers on a daily basis
  • Monitor online bank accounts for electronic payments from customers
  • Generate receipts for payments from customers
  • Reconcile customers’ accounts and issue invoices, receipts, statements, letters, etc. to customers
  • Bank reconciliation
  • Liaise with financial institutions regarding any discrepancies with the company’s accounts
  • Prepare monthly and annual sales reports for management
  • Prepare payment requisitions and cheques
  • Other Accounting/Administrative functions

Qualifications:

  • Accounting Diploma/Associates Degree in Accounting/ CAT/ FIA/ACCA Level 1 or higher
  • Working experience in QuickBooks/Peachtree accounting software
  • 3 years experience in a Senior Accounting position
  • Must have proper time management skills
  • Critical thinker
  • Proven debt recovery skills
  • Analytical with a keen eye for detail
