The Institute of Jamaica, invites qualified individuals to apply for the following position at the National Gallery:
The National Gallery of Jamaica is a Division of the Institute of Jamaica with a mandate to maintain, develop and exhibit a National Collection of Fine Arts, and to stage the Biennial Exhibition and other exhibitions of national importance.
The Senior Director will have overall responsibility for implementing, interpreting and translating decisions of the Management Board and the Government, through the Ministry of Culture, Gender, Entertainment and Sport.
Minimum Required Qualifications and Experience:
Postgraduate Degree in the Humanities from a recognized University
Ten (10) years’ experience in a cultural, socioeconomic or development Agency
Diploma in Business would be an asset
Excellent leadership, management, organisational and interpersonal skills.
