About Jamaica Co-operative Credit Union League Ltd.
The Jamaica Co-operative Credit Union League, a co-operative central body embracing all the credit unions in the island was founded in 1942. The League was a voluntary association which was democratically controlled and financed by its member credit unions.
The League’s structure includes: a 15 member Board of Directors, which hires a Chief Executive Officer who manages the day-to-day operations of the organisation and a 5-member Supervisory Committee which is responsible for ensuring the League’s compliance with policies and procedures and the effectiveness of controls at all levels of the organization.
The Group now consists of JCCUL (Trade Association), the Credit Union Fund Management Company (CUFMC), the Centralized Strategic Services Company Limited (CSS), Quality Network Co-operative (QNET) and JaMobile Payment Services Limited.
